Since all patients are different requiring different responses from their consultant, it would be inappropriate to comment on my own treatment and outcome, except to say it was life transforming in the most positive way! I can, however comment on the pathway to and from treatment.
My first appointment was arranged promptly and efficiently by Sasha as were all subsequent appointments together with a quick and efficient response to all my queries. Mr Rahmanou provided a lot of information which he patiently explained and on which he answered
many questions. The initial consultation was therefore quite lengthy, but at no point was I rushed. As a result, I left the clinic with all I needed to make a decision. The decision was not going to be made by my consultant, so at all times I felt I could go at my own pace and make decisions for myself.
All tests/screening were arranged seamlessly. Returning for my second appointment, Mr Rahmanou again unhurriedly and clearly explained everything and responded to challenging questions from my husband! Ensuring all concerns had been addressed and assured that I was comfortable with my decision, Mr Rahmanou offered reassurance. My decision resulted in him carrying out surgery.
Whilst in the care of Ramsay Healthcare I felt well looked after and particularly reassured when Mr Rahmanou appeared at 7.30am to brief me on what had occurred and the anticipated outcome for my recovery. His predictions materialised and confirmed at a follow up appointment.
